Slipper Sunday, Viceroy Santa Monica & Kelly Wearstler Home Decor Inspiration: PAMELA PEKERMAN

I’m obsessed with interior designer turned fashion designer, style icon, and walking-definition-of-chic Kelly Wearstler.  It’s no wonder, then, that my go-to hotel in Los Angeles is the imaculatly designed Viceroy Santa Monica. The property has all the bells and whistles we expect from Ms. Wearstler: geometric shapes, graphic prints, fun with mirrors and soothing luxury.  The overall effect is swanky Hollywood glamour, swapping out gilded grandeur for California cool.  I’m thrill to go back next week for Oscars’ weekend.

You’re seconds away from the famous Santa Monica Beach (where I like to enjoy a cheesy California moment-in-the-sun bike ride – thanks to the lovely concierge James), Santa Monica Pier, colorful Venice Beach (prepare for a contact high!), and Coast (brunch there is must!).
