Good Earth Tea Tag You're It Contest, My Quote on Tea Tags: PAMELA PEKERMAN

"Let's grab a cup of coffee", doesn't really appeal to me. First of all, why "grab" instead of "enjoy" a cup of coffee? Can we linger with a cup and not dash down Madison Avenue? Secondly, I'd much prefer a cup of tea. Tea is soothing, aromatic, full of anti-oxidants and a daily ritual I savor. If you follow me on Instagram you've seen some of the mini moments I create around tea. I collect tea and tea pots like I collect shoes - only the best. So, I was thrilled when America's-own Good Earth Tea wanted to immortalize one of my wise quotes on their tea tags. Take a look at my quote, which may be in your next batch of Good Earth Tea.

You too can have a tea tag quote. Simply enter the Good Earth "Tag, You're It" Contest.

Have a tea-rific day!

Accessorizing for the Met Museum, Schiaparelli Prada Exhibition

There's nothing like spending a Sunday afternoon at the museum. Yesterday, I finally saw the Schiaparelli Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. If you love fashion, history, and powerful women, take your sexy Prada-heeled self to this exhibition. I'd like to add a note of admiration for the geniuses that came up with the frame work for this exhibition, curators Harold Koda and Andrew Bolton, who were inspired by Miguel Covarrubias's "Impossible Interviews" published during the 1930s in Vanity Fair.

Accessories:

Frederic Fekkai leather flower head piece - I got this at an event or some gift bag nearly ten years ago and never had the conviction in my fashion choice, to wear it out. A date at the Met with two powerful ladies was all it took.

Prada Accordion Frame Bag ($3195) - my version is sold out, but check out this lovely tan/yellow option with white piping

Tory Burch Emmy gold sandals ($195)- purchased two years ago in shinny gold leather, now they have it in tumbled leather

Bolbach python cuff ($120)

Apparel … not as important:

T.J.Maxx polka dot blouse ($12.99)

T.J.Maxx white jeans ($19.99)

R to L: Prada Autumn/Winter 04/05 printed trompe l'oeil pleats;  Elsa Schiaparelli Vogue  1937
R to L: Prada dresses Autumn/Winter 08/09; Schiaparelli butterfly evening dress summer 1937
