I'm looking for a few good gals (or guys!) to join our fast growing team of writers and editors.
At the moment here's what we need:
An Editorial Assistant / InternBag-a-licious Duties:
- help call in samples/images for trend stories
- research new handbag designers
- write stories (ideally, but you don’t have to)
- rsvp for events, follow up with freelancers
- update editorial calendar
- attend fashion shows
- assist at market appointments
- help in planning events
- picking up dry cleaning, walking the dog, getting the mail, filing, finding the perfect leather repair man, buying pencils, returning bag samples on foot, locating that fabulous Italian coffee I had once and can't remember the name and other fun tasks ... just kiddingYou are:
- a fashion lover, with a soft spot for bags
- very organized (yes, we need help here)
- able to commit 10 hrs a week
- most likely still in college, so yes you can get college credit if needed
- can work from home (you have Internet, word, excel, outlook)
- in love with magazines, watching E! and the Style channel, and getting your daily media fix
- familiar with BagTrends.com and know every story we have written in the past two years :)
- an NYC resident or live within commuting distance
