PRESS, Style Expert Pamela Pekerman shares Home Decor Accessory Trends for Less from HomeGoods on PIX Morning News: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Today was another early morning wake up call, but I enjoy starting my day on PIX Morning News in New York. Once again, I shot with the lovely Sukanya Krishnan. We have a common love for HomeGoods, so today's segment announcing the launch of the first HomeGoods store in Manhattan, was a blast. See how I styled a room for $50, $100 and $150.

HomeGoods in Manhattan opens this Sunday, May 22nd at 8am. I'm actually heading out to a little VIP preview shopping party later tonight. But, first, gym and a trip to T.J.Maxx to pick up a pair of nude peep toe Christian Louboutin pumps that my friend put on hold for me. No, that's not a typo - Christian Loutoutin shoes in T.J.Maxx. Cray-z Town!

Press, Style Expert Pamela Pekerman shares Summer Fashion & Accessories Under $20 on CW11: PAMELA PEKERMAN

In case you missed it, here is my segment from this morning's WPIX Channel 11 Morning News in New York.

Verbal recap: For the boardroom I went to my favorite off-price retailers T.J.Maxx and Marshalls to snag designer and name brand fashion separates and accessories. I even found amazing wedges for $19 and a shapewear cami for $7. Normally a cami like that will be $30, if not more! LOVE IT! The key for summer office attire, is still quality, investment pieces, but in lightweight materials.
For boardwalk, I wanted to keep it casual and trendy. Kmart and Miss Tina (yes Beyonce's mom) hit the spot. I'm all about her maxi dresses for $18.
Finally, for beach, it really is about fast fashion finds. Old Navy flip flops are 2 for $5 - no brainer. And, Forever21 has bikinis that you can mix and match with tops/bottoms as low at $4. $4!!! For a full rundown of merchandise featured in my segment, visit WPIX.com.
Happy shopping.

Press, Royal Wedding and Bridal Accessories on Better TV: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Royal Wedding fever has reached a we-are-way-past-needing-Tylenol pitch. Are you planning a party this Friday to celebrate the nuptials of Prince William to Kate Middleton? In addition to the food (fish sticks anyone?) and décor, go all out and dress up in wedding attire – don’t forget to accent with some of my must-have wedding accessories.

In case you missed it, last week I shared my top wedding accessories on BETTER TV. Big hugs to BETTER co-host Rhiannon Ally, who always looks flawless. I never saw beige look so sexy! Work it.

Thank you to Tanya and the team at Alison Brod PR for my dress.

Yes, I'm aware my last name is spelled wrong in this segment. This happens way too often. Ugg. I need to be on top of producers with the correct info and title. I was once called "boot babe" during a boot trends segment in Miami. Not cool!

Affordable Rocker Fashion from TJMaxx and Marshalls on NBC's San Antonio Living: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Dear Bagistas,

Last month I had the pleasure of visiting the great state of Texas for the first time! My trip was rather short - about 36 hours on the ground in San Antonio. I tried to pack in as much sightseeing (yup got in the Alamo and surrounding area) and relaxing along the riverwalk, (which is a glorious stream that runs thru most of downtown) as I could. The main objective was to share rocker-chic fashion tips, as seen in The Runaways movie on NBC's San Antonio Living. Below is the clip that aired live April 28th. Note to self: sitting sideways doesn't help when you need to talk to the audience :). Ah, we live and learn. But, I do blame that deep, comfy couch. Sitting on stiffer couches for these segments is much better for posture and presentation. Any who, hope you enjoy this piece and don't forget to check out your local TJMaxx and Marshalls for amazing designers finds at up to 60% off. My latest goodies are an Alice+Olivia dress for under $170 and Tahari shoes for $49!

If you are in San Antonio, you must stay on the Riverwalk and request a view overlooking the water. It's so relaxing to have water views. I was very pleased with the Hotel Valencia Riverwalk. The staff was very friendly, the food at their restaurant was TexMex yum and the location was walking distance to the Alamo and The Majestic. They also upgraded me the a huge suite - I just wish the hubby was able to make the trip.

Have a bag-a-licious day!

Affordable Easter and Spring Fashion from TJMaxx and Marshalls on FOX17: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Dear Bagistas,
For those of you who follow my tweets and live in the west Michigan area, I hope you were able to catch me on FOX17 chatting up Easter and spring trends available at TJ Maxx and Marshalls. There were some amazing options presented for women, men and children. After the shoot, I actually purchased the soft coral/salmon colored cardigan the female model was wearing. It was $39.99! What can I say, I love a good deal.

Check out Fox17online.com/ to watch the piece or click on the image below. Yes, they called me "lifestyle expert" because I discussed home decor pieces you can pick up at Marshalls.
A big thank you to Mike and Andrea at FOX17, and the lovely anchor Sarah Brodhead. Also, thanks to concierge at the JW Marriot Grand Rapids for finding hairspray at 12:30am.

What My Floor Looks Like Before I Shoot a TV Segment: BAGTRENDS

Dear Bagistas,

This is what my floor looks like the day before a TV shoot. Actually, this is after I've edited out lots of other bags - which will probably live in my work closet and only get returned in early January. HELP! I so need an intern.

The segment I'm taping tomorrow is for BETTER TV about holiday handbags. The four groups are: "little luxuries" from Saks Fifth Avenue under $75, "affordable clutches" from TJMaxx under $150, "secondary lines" from Elle Nicole/Danielle Nicole and Carlos Falchi for Target/Carlos Falchi, and "smart splurges" from Kooba, Be&D and Katherine Kwei. The Kooba London tote (at right with python accent) is amazing. I've been itching for a good olive bag and it took all my professional strength not to wear this one! But, back to reality. The best part of this segment ... every one of these handbags will be given away via BagTrends.com. Details will be posted December 14 and the segment will air December 15. Check your local listings or watch it at Better.tv.

Have a bag-a-licious day!

Pamela Pekerman on HSN March 24, 2009 7am with Elite Models Bags: BAGTRENDS

Dear Bagistas,

Walk up tomorrow morning with me! I'm in Florida right now prepping for tomorrow's HSN Today 7am EST show. It's going to be a purse party featuring Elite Models Handbags and me yapping about spring 2009 trends. I hope you'll be able to tune in to the show and support me, and shop of course. There will be about eight bags in the hour, and if I had to pick favorites there are two that you absolutely can not miss. First up is the Elite Crinkled Wristlet for $19.90. I love mini clutches and wristlets as my bag-within-bag. When you have to run out for lunch or just crab a cup of coffee at Starbucks, it's so much easier to grab this wristlet with all your essentials and go. What about using it to easily switch out those essentials from your work bag to your weekend bag? It will fit your blackberry, wallet, lip gross, compact and keys. This $19.90 option is all about versatility ladies. You will love it as much as I do. Yes, I do own it in black! Keep you're eyes glued to the screen as I try to destroy this bag to prove our durable it is.
Now, my number two must-buy, and it will be my bag-a-licious pick from the show tomorrow is the Elite Croco Embossed Tote. HELLO!! it looks amazing. Yes, it's not real leather, but bagistas for $49 it beyond affordable luxury. Plus, the colors. Which one to buy? I'm torn between the yellow (a perfect no sunshine, neutral yellow) and the black. Then again, that orange is also so killer. I don't own this bag yet, but I'm hoping I can buy one tomorrow after I get off air. OK. So, watch because I love when all you bagistas tune in. Thank you so much for reading this blog, for visiting http://www.bagtrends.com/ and making the last 4 years very bag-a-licious for me. 2009 is going to be a big one in many ways and I look forward to sharing every detail, every seem, every bag, every moment with you.

PS Share your thoughts about these bags and others on the show. I'm going to also see if I can'ts score a giveaway of the croco tote!!

Have a bag-a-licious day!
