Footwear Friday, Giambattista Valli Two-Tone Satin Cutout Pump: PAMELA PEKERMAN

The perfect fall, transitional work shoe has arrived at Saks Fifth Avenue from Giambattista Valli ($720). This two-tone satin pump has side cutouts, so you still feel like you have one foot in the door of summer without looking inappropriate at the office. Find your inner working girl, a la Melanie Griffith, and sashay into the boardroom with a confident and stylish stride.

Footwear Friday, Franco Sarto Imply Boot: PAMELA PEKERMAN

The perfect fall boot has arrived and it’s from Franco Sarto, a company known for impeccable comfort. The Franco Sarto Imply boots ($199) have a hidden wedge, so you get a bit of a boost, but with plenty of ease on your back. The side buckles give the boot a utilitarian feel, and I love the full length side zipper for easy wear. For fall's heritage look, pair it with jeggings, a simple white long sleeve shirt (snag one from H&M for $12) and a houndstooth or plaid print cape.

Are you bootilicios all season long? What's your take on boots during the summer. Leave a comment below.

Footwear Friday, ShoeDazzle Supports National Military Family Association: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Snagging stylish shoes while supporting military families, now that sounds like a win-win for this accessory lover! ShoeDazzle, the online fashion brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian which delivers personalized monthly shoe, handbag and jewelry selections to members by its team of celebrity stylists, launched a campaign this week that salutes and supports in style. Now thru June 30th, $5.00 from every purchase of the Adara pump, the Anisa wedge, and the Kimi sandal will be donated to the National Military Family Association, the leading non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of officers and enlisted families in all seven Uniformed Services. I’ll have to pass on the Adara pump. But, I adore the striped Anisa wedge and see lots of cost-per-wear value on the Kimi flat sandal. At $39.95, maybe I should get both?

Not into the nautical trend, $5.00 from every purchase made July 4th on ShoeDazzle will go to the National Military Family Association.
Pare the shoes with a little white dress, like the Alfani button-down shirtdress I spotlights on PIX 11 Morning News.

Footwear Friday, Jean-Michel Cazabet Pam Cutout Wedge: PAMELA PEKERMAN

As I write this post, the barometer is approaching 100degrees in my New York City office! Since so many women work in corporate settings that forbid open-toe shoes, this Footwear Friday find is for you ladies. Strategically placed perforations on a shoe, are the next best thing to wearing sandals or peep-toe pumps. Let in a little air, and hit summer's wedge trend with
Jean-Michel Cazabat Pam Cutout Wedge Heels
($275). Alas, the shoe is not named after me. Although, I fancy we have a lot in common -- pointy toe, we face the world head on; wedge, we stand tall and comfortable; classic color options, we easily mingle with new and old friends/item in your closet.

PS For added sole-ace, place Silver Linings in your pumps. The pads, made from Agion silver technology, absorb moisture and reduce stinky, summer foot odor. Trust me, they work! Just make sure to change the pads ever 4-6 weeks, if you are wearing the shoes on a regular basis.

Footwear Friday, Manolo Blahnik for TOUS: PAMELA PEKERMAN

This isn’t a new piece. It was new over a month or two ago, when an exited pr gal (who’s a good friend of mine) told me she was sending me a charm necklace that was a collaboration between her client TOUS and renowned footwear designer Manolo Blahnik. I had planned to write a Footwear Friday post the moment I received it. However, I stopped myself. Was I in love with this piece simply because it was in the shape of the iconic Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane? Was it really worth $279 for a gold plated item? Gold plated! So, I resolved to wait until I could showcase this piece to my sister Michelle, a shoe fanatic who happens to also own the actual Manolo Blahnik Mary Jane in black patent leather (among many, many others). Last Friday, she was at my office and I presenter her with the item. She squealed. I laughed. She a-shoed me the necklace was certainly worth the price tag, if the wearer was a devoted shoe lover who really appreciated the piece and would wear in on a regular basis, thus making it less expensive based on the CPW (Cost Per Wear). Truth be told, the Manolo Blahnik for TOUS collection is very special, crafted to illustrate every minuet detail of the shoe, and even packaged in the most adorable little shoe box. Is there a footwear lover out there with a birthday coming up? Add this to your wish list.

Footwear Friday, SoleSociety.com Mochie Sandal: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Let’s get naked – I mean nude. I’m planning to live in these nude sandals all summer long. The Mochie Sandal, from my newest shoebession SoleSociety.com, is the best companion for braving New York’s notoriously humid, summer air. I’m partial to the thick straps, which I feel are more appropriate for the work environment, as compared to spaghetti, strap sandals (which also tend to cut off circulation!) What else? Stacked, wooden heel – check. Towering heights in 4.5 inches – check. Genuine leather – check. Affordable – double check, at $49.95.

Footwear Friday, Coye Nokes Susana Flat fall 2011: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Flat bread is something I can get behind, flat shoes not so much. But, due to recurring back pain, I need to find options that will occasionally give my body a rest, without sacrificing my need for a daily shoegasim. After previewing Coye Nokes’ fall 2011 collection at the Andaz Hotel, last week, I may have found my solution. The Susana Flat is polished without being prissy, and flat yet flattering. It’s business in the front with an interesting semi-polygon opening rather that a standard round opening, with a party in the back compliments of contrast piping in a pop color. And, since I can’t go totally flat, the slight 3/4 inch, hidden heel gives me the mini boost I crave. The Susana Flat ($245) will be available on CoyeNokes.com in August in five rich patent colors: mulberry, crimson, nude, charcoal and black. Nude has the crimson piping in the back, and is my personal choice for early fall (and maybe late spring, if the brand let's me get the shoes asap).

Footwear Friday, Via Spiga Andes Bootie: PAMELA PEKERMAN

I’ll hold off on the bell bottoms, but hitting on spring’s 70s direction (which will linger into fall 2011) via accessories, is how I’ll do the hustle into the trend. Via Spiga’s Andes ($99) peep-toe, ankle boots hit the mark with their clog-esque vibe, wooden platform heel and tassel detail. Being more restrained, I’ll opt for the black calf leather with the darker wooden heel; but, for the full Bianca Jagger flavor, the caramel color is the way to go. Rock it now with thick hosiery, a flouncy floral dress cinched with a belt, and a cross body camera bag. Wear the shoes in spring with a short romper and a floppy hat.

In the mood to win something? Show your love for Via Spiga and flaunt your style by entering their BE MY VIA SPIGA VALENTINE Facebook Contest. Simply upload a picture of an outfit and select a pair of Via Spiga shoes to complete the look. Then, write a caption describing where you would wear your look for a chance to win a $200 Via Spiga gift card. The contest begins on February 14th at 8:00am (CST) and ends February 21st at 11:59pm (CST) www.facebook.com/ViaSpiga

Footwear Friday, Ruthie Davis Angelina Pump: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Dear Bagistas,

It's my favorite day of the week - TFIG and Footwear Friday. I'm having a serious love affair with my shoe closet, filling it up with designer duds from Yves Saint Laurent , Alexandre Birman, Jimmy Choo , Tory Burch and more. So, I couldn't very well, step into the New Year without discussing (and if the designer still has my 5.5 size, buying) a pair of Ruthie Davis pumps. If you still don't know this name, a woman I've been raving about for nearly five years, check your fashion pulse!
Ruthie Davis Angelina Peep-toe Pump, Winter 2010.
Rumer Willis in Ruthie Davis' Agnelina Pump
Ruthie Davis' sky-high, killer-drama heels have graced the pages of every major magazine and have walked down the Red Carpet with the help of Hollywood heavy hitters like Beyonce, Fergie, Chelsea Handler, and Selena Gomez. Take a gander at the mixed-metal heel on the Angelina peep-toe pump? It's good cause for a shoegasim. OK, catch your breath ladies.  The Angelina, which retails for $895 at http://www.thehipchick.com/, was first introduced in fall 2010 and has already been worn by Rumer Willis (shown below), Myley Cyrus, Beyonce and Demi Lovato. The spring version of the Angelina ships in early February and is part of Davis' neutrals story with monochromatic studding on metallic uppers. For die-hard Ruthie Davis shoe fans, bright pops of color still found their way into the new season.

Footwear Friday, Lisa for Donald J Pliner Idas Boots: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Dear Bagistas,

It’s Friday, and in addition to being Follow Friday (on twitter) it’s Footwear Friday!!! Where are all my shoe divas?!?

Lisa for Donald J Pliner Ink Sandal (L) spring11, Idas Boots (R) fall10.
Today, I’m mad for this fierce, over-the-knee boot from Lisa Pliner for Donald J Pliner. Lisa, Donald’s wife and muse, has launched her own collection of trend-forward shoes that appeal to a younger demographic – check, that’s me! Best part, she’s working with the same mission of comfort that we’ve all come to love form DJP – and something I’m really seeking following a not-so-pleasant car accent earlier in the month. I’m crazy town, obsessed with these way over-the-knee boots with Lisa’s signature green souls and tractor bottom ($375).

Spring 2011 is going to be Lisa for Donald Pliners first, fully developed collection, so I’m sharing a sneak peak of Ink – the edgy girls answer to boring bridal shoes! This shoe happens to be Lisa’s pick for spring, as she told me “it's the kind of shoe that if asked, a woman might struggle to name three outfits she wears them with -- but it's that shoe women will build an outfit around.” Guess who’s placing her order already with the showroom? You should join me!

For more of my interview with Lisa and a full review of Donald J Pliner’s spring 2011 collection, check out my story on AOL’s StyleList.com

Have a bag-a-licious day!
