Handbag Humpday, Leopard Bags Be&D Kitty Satchel and DVF Tonda Clutch: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Calling all leopard lovers and ladies looking to get wild this season! If you jumped into the animal print trend last year, hold on with all claws. Leopards still rule the racks and these bags prove it. For day, BE & D Kitty Satchel ($1,150) is dark and sophisticated. Pair with the season's go-to coverup, a caplet, in tan or black like this winner from Lord & Taylor. For night, hold on to Diane von Furstenberg Tonda Printed Haircalf Clutch($495) when you're on the prowl for your next conquest ... on the dance floor, of course! I'm a PG13 kind of gal. The sculptured branch clasp on the clutch adds a rustic touch. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option try Mossimo Supply Co. Leopard Top Handle Handbag ($22) from Target.
1. DVF Tonda Clutch. 2. Be&D Kitty Satchel. 3. Mossimo for Target Top Handle.

Are you a leopard lover? I'm new to this print, but finally went for the plunge last year with two tops from H&M and now I'm thinking of getting the DVF clutch, an ideal mate for my countless little black and little nude dresses. Small doses offset with neutrals. That's the only way I can do this look What about you?

Treasure Tuesday, Fortunoff Fine Jewelry Black Quartz & Diamond Drop Earrings: PAMELA PEKERMAN

When you’re a little girl growing up in Brooklyn and you think of your special day, you dream of the dress (will it be lace or lots of tulle), you ponder about the venue (sleek in the city or major in Jersey) … But, one thing was always certain - you register at Fortunoff! So, you can imagine my dismay when weeks before I needed to register, Fortunoff was no more. Oye, the hutzpah! Well, that iconic brand is back doing what they always did best – fine jewelry. Fortunoff Fine Jewelry is online and will soon have brick and mortar stores. Today, I found these beauties Black Rutilated Quartz and Diamond Drop Earring ($950) set in 14K gold. The organic shape and look is a key trend we’ll be seeing a lot in holiday 2011 and going forward into 2012. Textured stones that look like they just came out of the ground is the next big thing in jewelry. But, of course, the team at Fortunoff knows that. This Brooklyn-born gal is very happy to know a retail legend has been resurrected.

Travel Thursday, Amalfi Coast Beauty Travel Essentials: PAMELA PEKERMAN

I’m off to the Amalfi Coast in one week and it’s time to edit my must-have toiletries. Being in the sun, I want to make sure I’m protected outside and refreshed once I get back to my hotel. For the face, AMOREPACIFIC Natural Protector SPF 30 ensures I’m keeping my youthful skin intact – there’s a reason why my mother, who’s in her late 50s, pass for early 40s. Love your skin – crocodile skin is only chic when it’s a crocodile skin bag! Now, I don’t want to neglect luscious lips, so I’ll be using Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipgloss in Pink Remedy which has SPF15. No other makeup is needed – well, maybe a little mascara. And when the day is done, I plan to wipe away the makeup and lotion with Biore’s delicate Towelettes. I hate traveling with too many bottles, so the neat towelettes pack is idea. Positano and Sorrento, here I come!

What’s your go-to beauty essential when traveling to a hot climate?

Travel Thursday, Theodora & Callum Navajo Blanket Scarf: PAMELA PEKERMAN

My normal travel uniform is all white – white linen pants with a white tank top or white velour palazzo pants with a white turtleneck, depending on the season and final destination. The pop of color comes from a scarf, which often doubles as a blanket. Theodora & Callum Navajo Blanket Scarf ($175) says it all in the name – they get my jet-set style. The print is on-trend, bold and certain to nab panache cred with the frequent-flyer fashion club.

What's your travel uniform? Are you cool and casual or hot in heels?

PS For a warmer pashmina scarf, head over to 5th Avenue or Broadway in the 20s. Street vendors have TONS of colors at around $10 each. If you're not from NYC, check out off-price retailers like Marshalls and T.J. Maxx for affordable, brand name and stylish scarves.

Treasure Tuesday, Dannijo Lislia Necklace: PAMELA PEKERMAN

I'm joining a tribe. The tribe of DANNIJO, two phenom, femtrepreneurs who also happen to be sisters. Did you hear that MichelleDANNIJO's Lislia Necklace is right on trend with fall's Native American vibe, but with an industrial twist. Part of me thinks, I can make that! The other part of me knows that the piece is sculpted to perfection with proper juxtaposition of stones, crystal and metal thanks to Danielle and Jodie Snyder's artistic eyes. All of me is certain I must have it! I can already see this in the fall over my beloved black H&M turtlenecks.

Would you wear this necklace? Are you a fan of DANNIJO? Share your thoughts below.

Mystery Monday, 20x200 Affordable Art, Eccentric Glamour by Simon Doonan: PAMELA PEKERMAN

Once a room is complete with all the essentials – flooring, lighting, paint/wallpaper, moldings – and major furniture is in place, it’s time to accessorize the walls. That time has arrived at the P2 offices. After nearly nine months (my gosh, I given birth to a room!) of decorated, I’ve finally committed to some art work and several strategically placed mirrors. The later, a rectangular pink framed mirror and a massive, wooden starburst mirror, came from HomeGoods. Total damage: $129. As for the art work, I also wanted to stick to a budget, which is why I turned to 20x200. Whether your aesthetic is modern, classic, edgy or abstract, 20x200 is the site to go to for art prints. For $50, I received a limited-edition, museum quality piece created by Simon Doonan. Eccentric Glamour has the pop and whimsy I sought, to complete the wall right in front of my desk.

What walls need a little accent in your home of office? Shop by style, color, artist and price at 20x200. And, don’t forget to leave a comment sharing your favorite print.

Also, tune into BETTER TV on August 15th to watch me discuss 200x20 and other campus essentials every dorm room and college student needs!
