Mystery Monday, The Slap Watch: PAMELA PEKERMAN

If you are between the ages of 25 and 30, you probably remember wearing and collecting slap bracelets – that is until they were eventually banned due to injures inflicted on the arm from constant slapping of the thin metal “bracelet” against one’s wrist. Ah, the good old days. Well, those days are back in a new form. Introducing the Slap Watch, the next best thing to being 11-years-old again, and chasing the ice cream truck down the block to ensure you get your daily fill of Marina Italian Ices. The Slap Watch combines the spring coil bracelet craze of the late 1980s and early 1990s with the silicone trend sweeping the watch industry. I’ve been playing with mine for a few hours now; hence this post is going up later in the day. I just wish I could figure out how to set the time. Maybe I should just stick to slap bracelets?
